Tour Plan

Your adventure begins at the Munnar Wild Trails office in Munnar, where you’ll be greeted by our experienced driver-guide and escorted to a rugged 4x4 jeep. After a quick safety briefing, the journey sets off toward the offbeat forest route.

Our first scenic stop is at Viriparai Waterfalls, a lesser-known but serene cascade nestled within the greenery of Munnar’s interior forest. Stretch your legs, breathe in the fresh air, and snap some beautiful photos before continuing deeper into the wilderness.

We ride along narrow, bumpy forest roads through Kallar and Perumbankuthu, areas rich in biodiversity. This stretch is known for its thick forest canopy, occasional wildlife sightings, and refreshing mountain streams that cross the path.

The highlight of the journey — we arrive at Anakulam, a remote tribal settlement famous for wild elephants visiting a natural water spring. Elephants are often seen here drinking water or resting nearby. Your guide will help you observe from a safe distance without disturbing the animals.

Note: Elephant sightings are likely but not guaranteed, as we follow ethical wildlife viewing practices.

Spend some time walking around the area, observing the forest ecosystem, or interacting with the local tribal community (if available). Guides can share stories about the region’s wildlife, flora, and eco-conservation efforts.

On the return, take a scenic route that passes through lush tea estates, offering stunning hill views and opportunities to stop for photos. It's a peaceful ride back that winds through the calm side of Munnar.

After a fulfilling and refreshing half-day safari, you'll be dropped back at our office in Munnar. You’ll return with a camera full of memories and a heart full of mountain adventure.
